Update from Seedworld

Hello, everyone. Today, we want to share the latest updates on Seedworld.

As you all know, these past couple of months, our goal has been to deliver Domination and Creative Mode before opening Seedworld to the first players, and then work on Beyond The Keep (BTK), our survival game. Domination is one of the core pillars to make Beyond The Keep real, as it allowed us to develop the core shooter mechanics in-game.

In the past six months, we’ve rapidly expanded the team to deliver most of the important layers for Seedworld’s adoption. While we were expecting a positive environment for altcoins after the presidential election, which would have been helpful, unfortunately, that didn’t happen. While we wanted to ship as much as we could, as fast as we could, the current environment is telling us that we should stick to completing the core onboarding product, which is BTK, and be leaner as a team. We had to restructure the Seedworld team to around 45 people with a focus on being more agile. Our core team is made up of highly skilled game devs who have shipped games like Diablo 4, Call of Duty, Assassin’s Creed, and more.

We carefully considered a shift toward AI-agent-related products in the past couple of weeks, however, staying committed to Beyond The Keep after all the progress that has been done with Domination is the smarter move and the one that will keep our team motivated and focused.

Traditional gamers love survival games with base building, crafting, and raid mechanics. Integrating web3 will take the survival genre to the next level, filling it with even more adrenaline, more entertainment, and the kind of gameplay that survival gamers love to share.

We see immense potential in Beyond The Keep, because of how interested the gaming audience is in new survival games and how adding web3 layers will intensify the experience, making it even more fun and rewarding.

Key things to know:

• The layers of land mechanisms and genesis NFTs will be an integral part of the Beyond The Keep experience too. However, NFTs are not required to play, as we have to cater to a very large audience and make them feel at home too.

• In terms of token sinks and token value-adds, we will be having community feedback sessions to align with our community and bring value to the $SWORLD token.

• While most of the core sinks will be tied to in-game mechanics, we understand that now is the time to put in the work to add value to stakers and farmers of $SWORLD.

Our new CMO just started, so expect big improvements in how we engage with our community via consistent updates, marketing campaigns, and community events.

We will also start to involve our community more in the game, to create exciting content for Seedworld together. Our marketing and community teams will focus on delivering more value to our token and NFT holders while preparing Beyond The Keep’s launch.

As you know, our TGE had a great start compared to the web3 gaming market overall. While the past few weeks haven’t been so great, we’re focused on fixing what hasn’t been working and working harder for the benefit of our community in this next phase.

As we prepare Beyond The Keep for testing at the end of Q2, we’ll begin closed testing sessions starting next month. Community members will be invited to help test key features like multiplayer servers, shooter mechanics, and other gameplay improvements
