Remember the breathtaking, immersive grassland biome we presented in dev update #6? Well, outstanding progress has been made since then.

Our team has been tirelessly crafting even more stunning environments for you to conquer in this brave new world. Imagine yourself nestled amongst the rolling green hills, the gentle breeze whispering secrets through the tall grass; it's possible to have an in-game picnic date here if you want.

Game Design

Here’s a breakdown of the game design team's work.

• Creator Mode is in full swing, and we've been testing the new build multiple times and brainstorming ways to make it even more user-friendly.

• Weapons: We've finalized the weapon set: pistol, assault rifle (AR), shotgun, sniper rifle, and rocket launcher. Balancing these bad boys takes a lot of work – damage, recoil, handling, and all sorts of calculations go into making them feel just right, bringing realistic action to Seedworld.

Here's a sneak peek at some of the things we're bringing into gameplay.

• Damage drop-off: How much damage your bullets do at different ranges.

• Recoil: How much your gun kicks back when you fire.

• Handling: How fast you can move and aim with the weapon.

• Spread and bloom: How tightly or spread out your bullets are grouped when you fire.

• Magazine size: How many bullets your gun can hold before reloading?

• Rate of fire (RoF): The firing speed of your gun.

But that’s not all! Check out what else we’re working on below!

• Aiming Down Sights (ADS) mechanics: How your view changes when you zoom in with your sights.

• Camera tuning: Making sure the camera feels smooth and responsive.

• Character customization system: Getting you ready to look your best (or most intimidating) on the battlefield.

• Multiplayer (MP) maps being built: Outstanding gaming environment where you and your friends can compete.

• Base building and raiding: Gear up for epic offensive and defensive battles!

The Latest Tech Achievements

We made it easier for you to build a better world.

We've been focusing on improving the building mechanics, making it easier than ever to create your dream world. This includes:

• New snapping options: This will help you place objects with perfect precision.

• Editing made easy: We're revamping object editing in creation mode to be more intuitive. This means you'll be able to edit and manipulate objects more naturally and user-friendly.

• Object alignment: no more wobbly angles. New alignment features will help you keep your creations looking sharp.

• Major bug fixes.

Based on feedback, we’ve started work on those pesky bugs. We've worked hard on crash bug fixes and improving performance (think smoother gameplay and less lag).

We are also addressing network and predictability issues to make the online experience more fair and enjoyable for everyone.

The in-game tutorial is upgraded with new UI keys to help you get started quickly. Plus, we've improved camera controls in free mode for a better view of your surroundings.

We've implemented a brand-new battle map design and are working on character-related battle mechanics, including basic controls and camera movement. We even have the first character integrated into the engine and battle-ready!
