Seedworld Dev Update #14
This is worth coming out of break for.
Debayo here, and trust me when I say Seedworld is doing the most—again. Like, we’re talking “hold my drink” levels of innovation since the early days of this project.
Case in point: this assault rifle masterpiece. Go ahead, click it—I'll wait.
Just when you think, "That’s all—it doesn’t get better than this," I get a call from my superiors straight out of New Year’s to write another Dev Update.
Another one, because Seedworld just did it again.
From Hoverboards to Cloak Field Generators, the latest Seedworld updates bring new ways to move, strategize, and outwit your opponents.
Let’s dive into what they’ve been working on.
1. Fights, Fish, and Trade Deals:
A couple of things come to mind when I look at this concept map. Can’t help but notice the subtle nod to the Mercenary Bunkhouse’s design style.
The hidden choke points and open battle zones make it a playground for outplays and ambushes.
But here’s the twist: fish. Yep, the presence of fish hints at ongoing trade amidst the chaos.
So, are we here to barter or brawl? Maybe both.
2. Cloak Field Generator: Now You See Me, Now You Don’t
The Cloak Field Generator is stealth with style, It turns you invisible and creates a cloaked zone for your squad.
Perfect for setting up ambushes or making a slick getaway.
Timing and placement are everything. Use it right, and you’ll feel like a tactical genius. Use it wrong, and, well... enjoy being someone’s target practice.
3. Jump Pads: Because Walking Is Overrated
Whether you’re escaping trouble, landing the perfect flank, or just flexing your air time, these pads keep the action fast and unpredictable.
Pro tip: Learn to use them smartly. Done right, you’re untouchable. Done wrong, you’re a sitting duck—midair.
4. Hoverboards
Compared to other forms of transportation in Seedworld, Hoverboards are all about style and speed.
Need to dodge fire, cover ground, or make a dramatic exit? Hop on and glide like a pro
Sure, they’re practical, but let’s be real—they’re mostly for flexing. If you’re going to escape, you might as well look good doing it.
5. And finally, A Teleportal
Why walk when you can warp? The Translocation Teleportal introduces dynamic traversal options. Instantly travel across the map, escape sticky situations, or surprise enemies.
It’s a game of “blink and you’ll miss it”—literally.
That’s a wrap for the 14th edition of the Dev Updates!
But don’t get too comfortable—we are already cooking up even more amazing features, and trust me, you’ll want to stick around for what’s next.
So, what’s got you hyped? Hoverboards? Cloak field generators? Something else entirely? Let us know below, and stay tuned—it’s only getting better from here.
