Meet the Baby Bull
If you spot a cute baby bull during your Seedworld adventure, resist the urge to pet it!
A parent might be nearby. While these creatures might not seem friendly unless you have secret bullfighter talents we don’t know about; there could be more to them than meets the eye.
Celestray the Ray
Meet the Celestray Ray, a Seedworld native creature that looks like a majestic stingray. Whether friend or foe, finding one in the game can lead to a beautiful experience or an unexpected challenge—so approach with caution!
Weapon and Battle Mechanics
In Seedworld, you're either delivering damage or dodging it. With the new rocket launcher VFX and revamped weapon reloading system, these visuals and mechanics take your in-game experience to the next level.
We've also added new attack shoot animations with dynamic camera effects that track your every move, making every shot feel epic.
Player controls have been refined for a more responsive and intuitive combat experience. We’ve also addressed a number of issues that caused inconsistencies with damage output and attack execution.
Three new playable characters, each with a unique combat style and ability, have been added for battle modes to deepen and variety the gameplay.
Plus, fresh animations, realistic death sequences, and impactful shot-hit animations will keep you on the edge of your seat. Check out the visuals below!
Environment Improvements
It’s not just about the combat—Seedworld’s environment is improving too! Remember the Grassland Biome we teased back in Dev Update #1? That was just the beginning and we keep building on top of the existing designs.
Grasslands aren’t new in gaming, with iconic examples like Pokémon and even the vast fields of The Witcher series.
These are the concepts we have been working on lately to turn into 3D counterparts for our environment team and tech art team.
Enough talk; take a moment to appreciate the beauty before your eyes.
Character Expansion
Seedworld is remarkable for its diverse cast of characters. Our art team intentionally sought to break molds and explore a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.
They did a great job making characters that feel real, and you can connect with them!
As seen in Dev Update #7, some characters even have real-world pop culture influences. We can't wait to see what our artists come up with next as they push the boundaries of imagination with each update.
And it’s a wrap, guys!
Sharing our work and journey has been exciting.
Until the next update, See you around.
REALLY good progress! Keep up the good work!
